Starting a whole new career can be a tough challenge and one that is incredibly intimidating. However, when you break away from the chains of corporate life and forge your own business it will be worth every moment.
Today we are going to take a look at some brilliant opportunities for you to take on this year, whether it be kitting out your garage with sewing machines, an acra milling machine, and more – or heading out on adventures abroad. Here are some great ideas for you to try in 2022.
Personal Trainer
If your new year’s resolution is to become fitter and stronger for yourself, you could use this to make a fulfilling career. Personal training is something anyone can do if they have a good workout and diet plan, and have obtained the relevant fitness qualifications. As long as you spend time studying how the body works, you can really make a big difference to the lives of people in your local area and beyond. Helping people to better themselves is gratifying career choice and it can really make a good impact on your life too.
DJ
If you seem to always be the one controlling the speakers at a party, why not make a fun career out of it and become a DJ? You can purchase professional decks online and then spend some time practicing how to mix music and make some incredible playlists for parties and other events. The good thing about this kind of job is that it will mostly be in the evenings so you will be able to enjoy your days at home with your family.
Massage Therapist
Are you a wizard with your hands? If you are great at releasing tension from people’s bodies every day, you can think about becoming a masseuse. This will give you the option to go freelance and travel around: or you can open up your own massage parlour in the area. It can be a lucrative business and over time you can add extra treatments and eventually open up a fully-fledged spa for your customers.
Videographer
If you find yourself a dab hand with a camera and you fancy yourself a little bit of an amateur YouTube star, you can use this skill to create some videos for companies and individuals. The main perk of having a job like this will be that you’ll be travelling around to scout out the best locations for video shoots and this can be a fun project to work on. Plus, you will have the creativity and the freedom to do anything you want with the project and it can be something which really gives ou a sense of pride.
Gardener
If an indoor job isn’t your style and you love being in the calm of the garden, you can consider setting up your own gardening business alone or with a family member. In the local area and beyond you will be able to go and mow lawns, prune trees, plant seeds and bulbs and maintain the beauty of the outside space of people’s homes. It can be a fun job because every garden will be different and you will be out in the fresh air which is always great compared to sitting in an office.
