Emmy nominations may reveal which television programs have impressed industry voters, but they do not always reflect what audiences are most eager to watch.
JustWatch has released new data highlighting the Emmy-nominated series generating the most interest among American viewers this awards season. The rankings are based on actual JustWatch user activity—including streaming offer clickouts, watchlist additions, and “like” engagement—tracked during the seven days following each show’s season finale.
The results reveal several interesting differences between awards recognition and audience demand.

Widow’s Bay Leads the Pack
Apple TV+’s horror-comedy Widow’s Bay claimed the top position in JustWatch’s overall Nomination Leaders ranking. It generated more viewer engagement than Pluribus, Beef, Hacks, and The Pitt.
Its strong performance is especially notable because The Pitt and Hacks received more Emmy nominations. This suggests that the number of nominations a show earns does not necessarily determine how much interest it generates among viewers.
Apple TV+ Has Its Strongest Emmy Showing Yet
Apple TV+ has a significant presence throughout the JustWatch rankings, with nominated programs appearing in the overall, drama, and comedy categories.
Along with Widow’s Bay, Apple TV+ titles including Pluribus, Slow Horses, Shrinking, and Your Friends & Neighbors performed well with audiences. The platform’s Emmy success is therefore supported by meaningful viewer engagement across several genres.
Comedy Viewers Put Widow’s Bay First
Widow’s Bay also topped the Outstanding Comedy Series popularity ranking, finishing ahead of established programs including The Bear, Nobody Wants This, Hacks, Shrinking, Only Murders in the Building, and Abbott Elementary.

One of the biggest surprises is the position of Hacks. Although it was one of the year’s most-nominated comedies, it placed fifth in JustWatch’s audience-engagement ranking. The result reinforces the idea that industry recognition and viewer interest can tell two very different stories.
Drama Rankings Deliver Another Surprise
The Outstanding Drama Series ranking produced a similar disconnect. Paradise generated the most audience interest, followed by Pluribus, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, The Diplomat, and Slow Horses.

Despite being the year’s most-nominated drama, The Pitt ranked sixth in audience engagement. Its position near the bottom of the category demonstrates that a large number of nominations does not automatically translate into stronger viewer demand.
All Her Fault Tops the Limited Series Ranking
The Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series category delivered another unexpected leader. All Her Fault placed first, ahead of The Beast in Me, Beef, Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, and DTF St. Louis.

What makes this result particularly interesting is that All Her Fault received fewer nominations than both Beef and DTF St. Louis. Even so, it attracted the strongest engagement among JustWatch users following its finale.
Audience Interest Tells a Different Story
The JustWatch data offers an important complement to the official Emmy nominations. Awards voters may evaluate programs based on artistic achievement, performances, writing, directing, and production quality, while viewers make more immediate decisions about what they want to watch, save, or explore.
This year’s rankings show that nomination totals alone cannot predict audience popularity. Widow’s Bay, Paradise, and All Her Fault each outperformed better-nominated competitors, while Apple TV+ demonstrated strength across multiple categories.
As Emmy season continues, the shows receiving the most awards attention may not always be the same ones capturing the greatest share of viewers’ attention.
