When you think of toxic gas emissions, you likely think of the industrial sector. Tests have shown time and time again that SCRs are reducing noxious emissions from boilers by up to 95 percent.

From the type of appliances in the break room to the lighting overhead, there are many sources of green technology that can be adopted by a manufacturing facility. The more green choices they can make, the less energy they have to utilize to keep their manufacturing processes running. This results in less of a carbon footprint for the whole facility which is a big step towards reducing noxious emissions.

Many manufacturing facilities have not taken a look at their actual production process in years. They don’t want to shut down the system to move things around, so they just turned a blind eye. That is until now. With the need to reduce noxious emissions, manufacturing facilities are assessing their processes and restructuring them to be more efficient. They’re eliminating areas that are unnecessary and implementing new smart manufacturing technology that gets the job done with less fuel. This restructuring process is a great place to start as it will not only ensure less noxious gas emissions but can also speed up the production process and output.
Manufacturers around the globe are now making strides towards reducing their noxious emissions. Since they’re the world’s biggest producers of these harmful gases, they’re the first industry that is having reduction standards put in place by the Federal, State, and Local Governments.
